SPORT. CONNECT. BELONG.
What if sport was not just about staying fit, but also about finding your people?
That is the idea behind The Active Group, a growing community in Da Nang bringing locals and expats together through running, tennis, padel, pickleball, and other active experiences.
At The Courts – Tennis, Padel & Pickleball at Hyatt Regency Danang, people come together to play, stay active, meet new people, and enjoy a more social side of sport.
There is no pressure to be the best player on the court. The appeal is in showing up, getting involved, and becoming part of a community.
For people living in Da Nang, especially those new to the city, sports communities can offer something that gyms and individual workouts often cannot: an easy way to meet people and build connections.
THE STORY BEHIND TAG
The story of The Active Group is connected to Tag, a run club and emerging performance-led fitness and lifestyle brand founded in Da Nang.
Founded in 2025 by Elliot Dyke, Tag began with a passion for running and a belief in the power of sport to bring people together.
What started as a small run club has grown into a community united by a shared love of sport, improvement, and showing up for each other.
Today, Tag is evolving beyond a run club, creating products and experiences for people who train, compete, and strive to become better versions of themselves.
The Active Group represents another expression of that philosophy.
Different sports. Different backgrounds. One shared idea:
Sport creates connection.
And in a city like Da Nang, where locals and international residents increasingly share the same social spaces, courts, running routes, and beaches, that connection can become an important part of everyday life.
